Position Summary

The Financial Operations Associate will deliver accounting and administrative support to our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls professionally.
  • Process daily correspondence and mail.
  • Record and deposit checks received.
  • Assist in the documentation of daily wire transactions.
  • Manage and post daily payments in accounting software.
  • Support the processing and posting of check requests.
  • Review monthly expense reports for accuracy.
  • Prepare daily financial reports.
  • Document daily credit card payments.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal banking regulations regarding trust accounts.
  • Assist in timely completion of bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Verify entries and reconcile processed work with system reports.
  • Safeguard organizational information by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Enhance job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities.
  • Contribute to the achievement of accounting and organizational goals.
  • Complete required regulatory and compliance training.
  • Exhibit punctuality, follow managerial directions, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting-related role.
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles.
