SENIOR FINANCIAL ASSOCIATE
POSITION SUMMARY Singleton Schreiber, LLP is on the lookout for a meticulous and detail-focused Senior Financial Associate to become a vital part of our team.
COMPENSATION AND PERKS:
$33.00-$36.00/hour
Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, expertise, experience, and qualifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing client settlement disbursements for various settlement types
• Preparing and executing client payments along with attorney compensation
• Reviewing Client Settlement Distribution Agreements
• Conducting audits of disbursements and attorney fee distributions
• Collaborating with the Settlement Team regarding client payments
• Organizing and maintaining financial documentation
• Assisting with month-end closing activities
• Addressing internal and external inquiries related to client payments
• Performing additional tasks to support the finance department
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational abilities and adaptability to change. Experience in maintaining financial databases and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
• 2-3 years of general accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and QuickBooks
• Experience in a law firm setting (preferred)
• A keen eye for enhancing efficiency and improving existing processes
• Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with exceptional organization
• Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy
• A positive and enthusiastic team player
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies, or Economics
• Full-time, Hybrid role (In Office 3 days per week)
