Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of accounts payable staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure efficient and accurate processing of payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close for accounts payable, including reconciliation and analysis of accounts.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth payment processing.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial operations.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in an accounts payable role, with a strong understanding of financial operations and accounting principles.
- College training or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word, with experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff to achieve departmental goals.
