Job Summary:

As a Production Manager at Altium Packaging, you will be responsible for leading and monitoring the activities of production personnel and managing resources employed in manufacturing of packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by practicing our company's guiding principles and championing our culture of excellence.
  • Act with integrity and compliance by adhering to safety and company policies, procedures, and established laws and regulations.
  • Drive value creation by fostering morale and employee engagement, improving employee retention, and continuous improvement.
  • Focus on the customer by delivering products that meet customer specifications and timelines.
  • Manage employee performance, including interviewing, training, and development, as well as recommending advancement and promotions.
  • Serve as a technical process expert in production, planning, scheduling, and budgetary matters.
  • Perform administrative duties, including generating shift reports, documenting employee performance, and training progress.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • High-level knowledge of machinery and production systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Computer skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • AS degree preferred.
  • Blow or injection mold experience a plus.
  • Drive and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
