Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Altium Packaging. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the activities of production personnel, ensuring the efficient and effective production of packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Process Improvement: Own process improvement and continually enhance safety, quality, production, and financial results.

  • Meet Customer Expectations: Include steps that meet customer product specifications and deliver in a timely manner.
  • Act with Humility: Challenge the status quo, create a positive impact on culture, and act as an employee and company advocate.
  • Treat Others with Dignity and Respect: Use consistency and integrity when dealing with employees.
  • Manage Employee Performance: Interview candidates, train and develop team members, recommend advancement and promotions, coach, counsel, and employment discharge.

  • Provide Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical process expert in production, planning, scheduling, preventative maintenance, and budgetary matters.
  • Administrative Duties: Generate shift reports, document employee performance results and goals, and training progress.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: High-level knowledge of machinery and production systems, bilingual in Spanish, and computer skills.
Preferred Skills/Attributes
  • Education: Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Blow or injection mold experience preferred.
  • Skills and Attributes: Drive and commitment to strive for continuous improvement, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
