Position Overview

The Creative Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the Walmart Creative Studio, focusing on the development and execution of marketing and branding initiatives that span various channels, including digital, print, and in-store experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to conceptualize and solve problems while thriving in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the design process and provide constructive feedback on assets for diverse projects across all user touchpoints to ensure brand consistency.
  • Contribute to the ideation process for site and paid campaigns, as well as the visual language for grocery-related photography.
  • Participate in photoshoots as necessary to ensure creative vision is realized.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and integrated strategy teams to maintain creative coherence at every interaction point.
  • Develop and present creative leadership and marketing pitch decks to secure alignment and set the team up for success.
  • Transform marketing strategies and overarching visual identities into actionable style guides.
  • Oversee the professional growth and project management of a team of art directors and designers.
  • Design assets and brand campaigns as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, with an online portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional design experience in advertising, e-commerce, and production.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a management role.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and remain effective in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in photo art direction, particularly within the food and lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong skills in retouching and layout design, including color theory and hierarchy.
  • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Highly organized with a commitment to thorough follow-through on tasks.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Figma.
  • Knowledge of print processes and mechanicals.
  • Experience in retail environments.
