About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex engineering projects from initiation to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of project progress and any changes.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop and implement contingency plans as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure that project objectives are met and that all parties are satisfied with the project outcome.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are of high quality and meet the required standards.
  • Manage and report on project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and implement project management processes and procedures to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification.
  • 10 years of relevant IT engineering project management experience.
  • B.S./B.A. in IT related field.
  • Experience supporting Agile and Waterfall project management methods.
  • Understanding of DoD acquisition regulations.
  • Proven working knowledge of IT infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in recommending solutions that improve customer satisfaction and/or the mission of the customer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expert use of MS Visio and Project and proficient use of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience using Remedy or ServiceNow IT ticket systems.
  • Ability to travel (about 10-25%) primarily throughout the National Capital Region; Other travel locations may be required as well.
  • May be required to work beyond typical work times to include on-call, recall, and/or standby.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical understanding of Microsoft Enterprise services and solutions for on premise environments.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Knowledge of ITSM.
