Position Overview:

The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of production workflows across various media, including print, digital, video, and multimedia communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison for colleagues requesting communication materials. Engage in active listening to clarify objectives, define project scope, and recommend appropriate resources while establishing production timelines and milestones to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency. Acknowledge the contributions and workloads of writers and designers, while navigating the complexities associated with creative initiatives.
  • Provide consistent updates on project status, proactively addressing any challenges or conflicts that may arise.
  • Analyze performance metrics, including mailing lists, email engagement, and website analytics.
  • Collaborate effectively with fundraisers, event coordinators, external vendors, and communication teams across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of four years of experience in creative project management and production.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and platforms, with the ability to assess and recommend their application.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic work environment.
  • Expertise in facilitating mutual success among team members and stakeholders by keeping projects on schedule.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, including effective file management and documentation practices.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, particularly in resource and time management.
  • Ability to foster trust and respect among colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Competence in analyzing and summarizing information for executive-level review and decision-making.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with higher education and advancement communications.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and MarketingCloud.
  • Previous experience working with in-house creative teams, either as staff or vendor.
  • Experience managing external agencies.
  • Ability to balance the initial creative ideation with practical time and resource constraints.
