  • Updating and managing departmental web content.
  • Conducting independent research and summarizing data for reports.
  • Assisting with budget management, processing expense reports, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Handling phone inquiries, routing calls, and greeting visitors professionally.
  • Prioritizing and screening incoming communications effectively.
  • Ordering supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Resolving routine issues based on established procedures.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding departmental policies and procedures.
  • Typing and proofreading documents prepared by others.
  • Creating and maintaining standard reports, charts, and databases.
  • Managing confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in administrative support preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with office administrative practices and procedures.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in dealing with the public both in person and over the phone.
  • Willingness to assist in other departments as needed.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.

Compensation: $16.10 - $20.80 per hour
