Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiographer to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our Cardiology Services team, you will perform a variety of complex cardiac ultrasonographic procedures, applying non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities
• Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures under the supervision of the Director of Cardiology
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and patient outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac ultrasound technology and techniques
Requirements
• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent education/experience in a related healthcare field
• RDCS registry preferred
• 1 year experience in cardiac ultrasound
• BLS Training required
