We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our healthcare team at Next Move Healthcare. Key Responsibilities:- Provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages, adhering to hospital policies and AARC standards.
- Administer respiratory therapies, including ventilator management, Bipap, and high-flow oxygen therapy using Vapotherm.
- Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis using GEM technology.
- Manage respiratory emergencies and assist in patient transports as needed, using Transport Vent Zoll.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
- Document patient care in the Meditech EMR system and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with best practices in respiratory care.
- Experience:
- New graduates are welcome and will be trained.
- 2 years of acute care hospital experience required; critical access hospital experience preferred.
- Must be clinically independent and comfortable working with all age groups.
- Education: Graduate from an approved and accredited program of Respiratory Care.
- Licensure: Current New Hampshire Respiratory Care License/Registration required.
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA): Required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required or eligible for certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Must have knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for respiratory care.
