Job Summary:

As a Graduate Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures in various specialties, including abdominal, obstetrics and gynecology, adult or pediatric echocardiography, and peripheral vascular ultrasound. This is an interim position between graduation from an accredited ultrasound program and employment as a Technologist, Ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation of data according to departmental and hospital protocols.
  • Support unit and hospital goals through quality assurance and educational activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with patients, family, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Technical Ultrasound Program.
  • Registry eligibility.
  • CPR Certification.
  • 6 months related experience preferred.

Working Relationships:

You will work directly with patients and/or customers, as well as internal and external customers via telephone or face-to-face interaction. You will also work with other healthcare professionals and staff.
