About the Role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Coordinator to join our team at IndyGo. This role is responsible for promoting supplier diversity and economic inclusion by collaborating with procurement teams and representing the company at industry events.

IndyGo is dedicated to connecting our community to economic and cultural opportunities through safe, reliable, and accessible mobility experiences. We operate thirty (32) transit routes throughout the county, providing nearly 10 million passenger trips a year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Supplier Diversity: Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations relative to minority, women, disabled, and veteran-owned business development.
  • Represent IndyGo: Participate in industry events, supplier diversity forums, and networking opportunities to promote our commitment to supplier diversity.
  • Support Procurement Teams: Assist procurement teams with managing supplier diversity portal, tracking progress, and identifying areas for improvement.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, purchasing, economics, or a related field.
  • Supplier diversity, diversity and inclusion program, data analyst, or contract compliance experience.
