Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Uphold and promote the distinctive Catholic Mission of the Diocese by communicating, acting, and instructing in alignment with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Provide fundamental accounting assistance, including invoice coding, data entry, and processing customer payments. Develop and maintain documents and files that cater to the administrative requirements of cemetery operations. Ensure confidentiality of all transactions and information related to cemetery records. Record, monitor, and confirm the resolution of escalated customer service inquiries. Organize meetings as requested; aid in the planning and execution of Cemetery Community events. Procure office and kitchen supplies as necessary. Engage in special events organized at the cemetery, such as Memorial Day Mass, All Souls Day Mass, Advent Mass, and others as scheduled. Responsibilities for special events will vary and be assigned by management prior to the event. Perform additional duties as directed by Management. Physical / Mental Requirements: Requires coordination and manual dexterity, normal mental and visual capabilities; ability to lift as necessary in a standard office environment. Exposure to outdoor conditions. Required Activities: Walking, sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, talking, hearing, carrying, and keyboarding. Ability to withstand exposure to extreme temperatures when tasks necessitate being on cemetery grounds. Basic Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work with a sense of urgency. Exceptional follow-up skills are essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding records and services. Project management skills with the capability to handle multiple projects concurrently. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Professional demeanor, appearance, and attire are required. Education and Experience: High School Diploma. 3-5 years of experience in administrative roles, including task tracking, basic bookkeeping, and customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Familiarity with various management system software platforms is a plus. Other Skills and Abilities: Bilingual (Spanish, English) preferred.
