About the Position:

The Wellness Office Coordinator will provide supervision and oversight of the Wellness Team, responsible for the overall administrative operations of the Wellness Center. This includes monitoring daily administrative management of Wellness faculty, maintaining and keeping records of all faculty schedules, approving time off requests, vacations, and sick days, and ensuring compliance with CARF Accreditation and Arizona Behavioral Health Residential Facility Licensing Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of faculty schedules and approve time off requests
  • Oversee the implementation and provision of all contractual program components related to the operations of the Wellness Center
  • Develop quality control and follow-up procedures to ensure quality of service, clinical documentation, and personnel responsible for documentation
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of all required reporting
  • Ensure contract compliance with Amity policies and procedures, relevant to state and federal regulations and contract obligations
  • Attend and participate in Amity community functions
  • Assist in resolving programmatic and personnel problems
  • Dispense medications and keep records in BN as needed
  • Transport medications, pick up at local pharmacies, deliver, and document following all procedures
  • Schedule and ensure all medical assessments are complete within state and federal regulations
  • Build reciprocity with the enrollment team, ensuring all new enrollments are assessed and all documentation needed prior to enrollment is delivered to the Registered Nurse

Requirements:

  • Associate arts degree in business or human services, or equivalent experience working with special needs students or training in social services, health, and experience dealing with diverse populations and public agencies
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Proficient use of a computer
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure and creative environment
  • Ability to interact with agency department heads, public officials, and multidisciplinary groups of professionals
  • Fingerprint card
  • Pass a drug test for illegal substances
  • Obtain First Aid and CPR certification within six weeks of hire and pass a physical examination and tuberculosis test from a health professional
