Role: Academic Rheumatology

The University of Missouri School of Medicine, specifically within the Division of Rheumatology, is seeking a dedicated and qualified Rheumatologist to fill a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This role is ideal for board-certified or board-eligible candidates who are passionate about advancing clinical services and educational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance clinical services within the division.
  • Engage in clinical education for medical students, residents, and rheumatology fellows.
  • Participate in a busy university clinic, providing care for a diverse patient population with various rheumatic conditions.
  • Collaborate with other specialties, including Pulmonary Medicine and Nephrology, to foster interdisciplinary care.
  • Contribute to the establishment of new clinics focused on Rheumatology-Pulmonary and Rheumatology-Ophthalmology.
  • Help develop a musculoskeletal ultrasound curriculum, with available funding for training and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
  • Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
