Job Summary

We are seeking a customer-facing, enthusiastic IT professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting users in an agency environment housing post-production, print, graphic design, and/or VFX. The successful candidate will be a happy to be on the front lines, a natural problem solver, strong communicator, and self-starter with an innate willingness to learn about new systems, software, and hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Active listener: Capable of diagnosing software and hardware issues by carefully understanding user concerns and identifying the best course of action to resolve them.
  • Clear and effective communicator: Able to explain technical problems and solutions in a way that is easy to understand for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Proficient with Adobe applications: Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, supporting creative teams with technical troubleshooting and setup
  • Troubleshooting / Working in Postproduction Workflows
  • Setup hardware and peripheral components and install and troubleshoot software, operating systems, networking components.
  • Assist in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' and business needs.
  • Provide telephone, in-person, and remote support to end-users.
  • Assist in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
  • Be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Requirements
  • IT support in a post-production environment for at least 2 years
  • A/V Editorial Experience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Scripting, API Integrations a plus
  • General Familiarity with Databases (SQL, PostGres, Realm/MongoDB) a plus
