Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Campus Director, the Admissions and Administrative Coordinator will assist the Admissions Counselor in attracting and enrolling qualified candidates. Key responsibilities include addressing inquiries, organizing New Student Orientation, and executing clerical tasks such as welcoming visitors, managing phone communications, and overseeing correspondence. A professional demeanor and willingness to assist with additional responsibilities are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities as Admissions Coordinator
- Provides detailed program information through phone and written communication, articulating institutional policies and procedures throughout the student journey.
- Organizes and supports campus events and conducts tours for prospective students as required.
- Collaborates with the Admissions Counselor to ensure all necessary documentation is accurately filed in student profiles.
- Partners with the Admissions Counselor to create effective social media marketing initiatives that showcase the value of educational programs to potential students.
- Performs administrative tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities as Administrative Assistant
- Manage phone calls and take messages
- Respond to electronic communications
- Oversee mail correspondence
- Welcome prospective students and visitors
- Assist in maintaining the office calendar
- Support invoicing and other financial tasks
- Conduct data entry and filing duties
- Monitor inventory of office supplies
- Carry out additional clerical responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred
Preferred Skills
- Exceptional visual, written, and verbal communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in technology/software (Zoom, Canva, MS Suite, SharePoint)
- Experience in marketing, social media, and graphic design
This position is part-time initially, requiring a commitment of 20-25 hours per week for the first three months, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 2 PM. There is potential for this role to evolve into a full-time position.
The current working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but may be adjusted based on organizational needs.
