Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team at California State University. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Art Department office, performing a broad range of clerical functions and administrative activities. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Art Department office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Perform a broad range of clerical functions, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including scheduling meetings and arranging travel.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
  • Provide excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic or office setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.
