The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Business and Investment Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our program, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the financial management of a program supporting information technology investments.

Our ideal candidate will have experience with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, as well as business and financial analysis, including developing spend plans and tracking budget execution against defined obligation and expenditure benchmarks.

You will work closely with key clients to review budgets, spend plans, and financial reports using tools like Microsoft Excel and through regular interactions with financial analysts. Your ability to analyze complex data in support of business, budget, and financial data calls will be essential in ensuring the program achieves its goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial management plans and reports
  • Collaborate with clients to review budgets and spend plans
  • Analyze complex data to support business and financial decisions
  • Develop metrics and reports to support senior leadership
  • Translate strategic guidance into resource allocation decisions
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with the PPBE process
  • Experience with business and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of DoD Financial Management principles
  • Ability to analyze complex data
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with financial management in a DoD Program Management Office
  • Experience with the acquisition life cycle for information technology systems
  • Knowledge of the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Ability to build trust and value-based relationships with stakeholders
Clearance and Compensation
