This role is designed for dedicated professionals in the field of laboratory science. As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality laboratory services.

Compensation:
This position is eligible for a hiring bonus. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience may qualify for a $7,500 sign-on bonus, while those with over 2 years of experience may receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Please note that this bonus is prorated for part-time or per diem roles.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist, your duties will include:
1. Conducting and overseeing laboratory tests on patient specimens in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
2. Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting both normal and abnormal patient results.
3. Identifying technical or physiological issues and implementing solutions.
4. Ensuring accuracy and quality control, as well as maintaining laboratory instruments.
5. Providing training to laboratory staff and other healthcare personnel as needed.

Qualifications:
Education:
- For Clinical Laboratory Specialist: A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, or a related field is required.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist or equivalent from a recognized professional organization is required within 6 months of hire.

Experience:
- No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends, is essential.
