Role Summary

Frog Works, a pioneering initiative launched in 2022, embodies our commitment to innovation and strategic growth. Our mission is to embed this innovative spirit into our operations as we advance. We envision a think tank that nurtures groundbreaking ideas, embraces state-of-the-art technologies, and forges unique partnerships that align with our objectives. Our goal is to lead in this dynamic sector.

This role encompasses strategy, business development, innovation, technology, and data analytics. We serve as the essential department to ensure Realm's success in the coming years. Our proprietary member scoring system, based on 17 distinct criteria, allows for exceptional segmentation and personalization. Additionally, we have developed a unique process and winemaking tool that enhances grape and wine laboratory analysis. You will play a crucial role in accelerating, adapting, and delivering our strategic priorities in a rapidly evolving landscape. Daily tasks may involve evaluating vineyard acquisitions, refining algorithms in our allocation model, or collaborating across departments on innovative projects. As our team expands, you will help lay a robust foundation, leveraging exciting tools and leading new initiatives—an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Design and Execution
1.1. Collaborate with various departments to equip them with top-tier tools and processes.
1.2. Support and occasionally lead new initiatives.

2. Integrated Business Planning
2.1. Ensure data harmonization and streamlining across the organization.
2.2. Facilitate cross-departmental communication and share pertinent information.
2.3. Enhance our data systems that connect various aspects of the organization, including supply, packaging, inventory, production, channel mix, and pricing.

3. Data Management and Analytics
3.1. Optimize our extensive data resources and provide regular analyses and reports.
3.2. Manage data records using tools such as Salesforce and Tableau Prep Builder.
3.3. Conduct analyses to support team objectives, including metrics related to direct-to-consumer and trade performance, as well as viticulture metrics.

4. Technology Enhancement
4.1. Continuously seek methods to boost growth and productivity through technological advancements.
4.2. Assist the technology manager and enable projects as required.
4.3. Utilize existing platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, Slack, and Asana effectively.

5. Strategic Planning Support
5.1. Aid in the execution of strategic planning efforts, ensuring cohesive long-term support.
5.2. Assist with ad hoc projects and annual updates as needed.

6. Business Development Assistance
6.1. Support business development efforts, including mergers and acquisitions analysis.
6.2. Ensure alignment with overall strategic objectives and return on investment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Strategy, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with a strong desire to work across functions.
  • Experience with AI, Salesforce development (Apex), Tableau, and data modeling is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize information effectively.
  • Adept at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including data presentation.
  • Quick learner with a strong intellectual curiosity.
  • General knowledge of financial statements and modeling, as well as business plan development.

Work Environment:
  • This role is primarily office-based with occasional visits to production facilities.
  • Must be able to work in various temperature and humidity levels.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
  • Flexible work schedule may be required during peak demand periods.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
