Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accounting and advisory services to a broad clientele, including individuals and businesses from various sectors.
  • Perform essential accounting duties such as transaction entries, ledger reconciliations, and journal entry recommendations.
  • Manage complex adjustments and reconciliations, conduct system clean-ups, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Establish and implement accounting systems for new clients, oversee payroll and tax return processes, and maintain financial records.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to provide high-quality service, perform risk assessments, offer compliance advice, and mentor junior staff.
  • Lead client engagements, supervise team members, prioritize tasks, and ensure adherence to project timelines and deadlines.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, analyze financial reports, collaborate on journal entries, and enhance understanding of tax regulations and accounting practices.

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally across multiple clients and industries.
  • Proven accuracy, technical expertise, industry insight, effective communication, attention to detail, and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, quick adaptability to new systems, excellent customer service skills, interpersonal abilities, proactive problem-solving, and project management experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is a plus, along with prior experience using QuickBooks.
