Job Title: Facility Control System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Control System Administrator to join our team at OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, Alabama.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance in support of operating Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) at U.S. Army facilities. This includes providing FRCS services in the areas of maintenance, testing, operations, logistics, integration, and system installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide security subject matter expertise in matters pertaining to FRCS/Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Configure and implement industrial control system solutions for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory, Control, and Data Acquisition (SCADA), building automation, and process control.
  • Provide technical assistance for daily operations, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance of assigned FRCS.
  • Address TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications across multiple protocols including BACnet, Lon, Modbus, and others as required.
  • Resolve operational and technical deficiencies within the control systems.
  • Monitor daily FRCS operations ensuring system performance and data requirements meet specifications.
  • Test FRCS to ensure proper functionality, load firmware, and integrate tags and points.
  • Identify, order, receive, and track parts for FRCS.
  • May serve as a technical liaison between our government customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is preferred. The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Bachelors Degree; 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Three to ten years of related work experience required.
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
  • May require CONUS and/or OCONUS travel to customer sites.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Familiarity with SCADA software (Wonderware, ICONICS, FactoryTalk Studio, etc.) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (Niagara, Metasys, Trane, WebControl)
  • One or more of the following certifications is a plus:
    • IEC 62443 Fundamental Specialist Certificate
    • GIAC Security Essentials Certification
    • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
  • Familiar with hardening of Field Points of Contacts (FPOC) and Building Point of Contacts (BPOC).
