Job Title: Senior Control Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Cintel Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance in support of operating Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS). You will work closely with our team to configure and implement industrial control system solutions for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory, Control, and Data Acquisition (SCADA), building automation, and process control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site system administration of FRCS.
  • Provide security subject matter expertise in matters pertaining to FRCS/OT environments.
  • Configure and implement industrial control system solutions for PLCs, SCADA, building automation, and process control.
  • Provide technical assistance with regard to daily operations, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance of assigned FRCS.
  • Properly address TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications across multiple protocols including BACnet, Lon, Modbus, and others as required.
  • Resolves operational and technical deficiencies within the control systems.
  • Monitors daily FRCS operations ensuring system performance and data requirements meet specifications.
  • Tests FRCS to ensure proper functionality.
  • Identifies, orders, receives, and tracks parts for FRCS.
  • May serve as a technical liaison between government customer and vendors and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Eight years of related work experience required.
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
  • Must have an Active Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • May require CONUS and/or OCONUS travel to customer sites.
