We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities Maintenance Specialist to ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will handle work orders, prepare vacant units, and maintain the communal areas of the facility to meet safety, aesthetic, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall physical condition and upkeep of the property.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within designated timeframes.
- Prepare units for new occupants, including tasks such as painting, flooring, cleaning, and general repairs.
- Keep community grounds, including breezeways and parking areas, clean and safe for residents and visitors.
- Supervise external service providers and vendors for necessary repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, including preventative maintenance checks.
- Address unresolved customer service issues to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Respond professionally to after-hours emergency calls as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in workshops and utility areas.
- Perform landscape maintenance as needed to enhance common areas.
- Clear snow and ice during inclement weather.
- Execute maintenance tasks with minimal supervision, adhering to company policies.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and guests.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Competency in electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting.
- Strong customer service skills to address resident needs professionally.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Integrity, strong character, and a positive attitude.
- Valid Driver's License and a safe driving record.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screening is required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
