Key Responsibilities- System Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
- Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to identify any defects or issues and ensure they are compliant with company policy, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers regarding fire sprinkler systems, extinguishers, back-flows, emergency lighting, and fire alarm service calls.
- Quality Control: Review bids for quality control purposes and recommend requirements to management to ensure the highest level of quality.
- Reporting and Scheduling: Report deficiencies in a timely and effective manner to prevent additional repairs and schedule appointments to ensure customers' needs are met.
- Training and Development: Provide customer training as required and perform on-call duties as outlined and as required by contract obligations and management.
- Administrative Duties: Expedite and ensure accuracy with all service, testing, inspection correspondence, work orders, and other associated paperwork.
- Certifications: NICET II - Fire Alarms or higher certification and NICET II - Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
- Valid State Driver's License: A valid state driver's license is required.
- On-Call Roster Rotation: Mandatory on-call roster rotation for after-hour service calls, with on-call pay provided.
- US Government Clearance: US government clearance may be required.
- Seattle FA-01 Card: A Seattle FA-01 card is preferred.
- Manufacturer Certifications: Manufacturer certifications for fire alarm systems.
- Backflow Assembly Tester Certification: Backflow assembly tester certification.
- Competitive Pay: Competitive pay with a pay range of $35 - $60 per hour for well-qualified candidates.
