Position Summary:

The Route Sales Operations Manager oversees the route sales process from the initial prospect submission to the final transaction closure. This role will lead a team of 5-10 employees and ensure compliance with the parameters of the Route Sales process, Route Loan Program, and the consistent application of the route valuation model.

This position collaborates with Independent DSD Partners ("IDPs"), field sales management, the Legal department, third-party vendors, and various internal departments to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete Route Sale Summary to ensure route valuation is calculated in accordance with division policies and financial calculations are compliant with current contracts.
  • Maintain accurate contractual records for all IDP profiles.
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers and the Field Sales team to ensure a steady flow of transactions for open route closures, including regular alignment meetings.
  • Act as the liaison between prospects and internal departments such as Legal, Route Engineering, Route Account Management, Master Data, and DSD Support throughout the transaction process.
  • Manage the credit application process and process improvement initiatives with lending partners.
  • Ensure timely credit decisions with financing partners.
  • Oversee the timely review of IDP insurance policies with third-party vendors.
  • Take ownership of the successful route closing rate in the assigned area by monitoring progress and performance targets.
  • Lead weekly system development calls with third-party vendors to ensure tool maintenance meets expectations and drives efficiency improvements over time.
  • Review and audit electronic and paper loan documents post-signature.
  • Collaborate with the Legal department to execute all contract versions in compliance with established parameters; initiate new contract versions in conjunction with the Legal Department.
  • Confirm receipt of all payments due, including down payments, prior to loan execution and funding.
  • Analyze and identify processes requiring improvement or automation, design new procedures, and guide team members through changes.
  • Participate in projects, assist teammates, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience required.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to calculate financial data points such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, SAP, Sales Force, Adobe EchoSign, DocuSign, and Service Now.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and handle various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong analytical skills to research, evaluate, and propose solutions to complex issues; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, along with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and engage cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of simplifying complex information for resolution.
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities; open to feedback and contributes to a positive team spirit.

Physical Requirements:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $72,900 and $117,300. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. We offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
