Program Specialist, EDF Climate Corps

At Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), we're driven by a passion to protect the environment and promote a healthy economy. As a Program Specialist for EDF Climate Corps, you'll play a key role in accelerating the transition to a low-carbon energy system by inspiring and empowering leaders.

EDF Climate Corps is an innovative summer fellowship program that embeds trained graduate students in companies, cities, and universities to advance climate solutions. With a network of over 1,500 professionals, we're committed to uncovering energy savings and promoting sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement online energy efficiency training programs, including evaluating results, creating strategies, and designing RFPs.
  • Manage a portfolio of host organization relationships, overseeing summer fellowships and ensuring successful completion of fellowship deliverables.
  • Participate in key fellowship processes, including host recruiting, fellow recruiting, implementation check-ins, surveys, and after-action reviews.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of building energy efficiency and corporate environmental sustainability.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex topics to broad audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
