US Branch Senior Manager of Climate Action

The Climate Reality Project is a nonprofit organization founded by former US Vice President Al Gore, dedicated to catalyzing a global solution to the climate crisis.
As the US Branch Senior Manager, you will lead our US branch, the largest of Climate Reality's international branches, with 100 chapters and over 35,000 volunteers.
You will work closely with the Global Field Director to build the strategic direction and drive operational success of The Climate Reality Project's work in the US.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of regional organizers to support our volunteer-led chapters of Climate Reality Leaders through organizing, branch programs, and partnerships.
- Collaborate across teams to implement US programs and activities that support Climate Reality's 2030 goals and global campaigns (Reducing Emissions, Financing a Just Transition, and Promoting International Cooperation).
- Manage the implementation of online webinars for Climate Reality Leaders that are hosted by headquarters.
- Supervise 3-4 regional organizers and provide support for US-based Climate Reality Leadership Corps Trainings and develop a post-training engagement strategy.
- Detailed knowledge of a broad range of engagement strategies and tactics.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience and awareness of cultural diversity, ability to work effectively with a diverse group of organizations and volunteers in the US and internationally.
- Proficiency with project management, CRM platform, and/or online reporting systems.
Bachelor's degree—or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of relevant experience.
Significant experience leading and mentoring in-person and remote staff, ideally in a field or regional organizing role.
Proven experience managing, motivating, and leading volunteers toward programmatic impact with results.
