Key Responsibilities:

The role of the Inside Sales Representative involves direct interaction with customers, both in-person and via phone, to support our performance fuels division. The main duties include:

  • Providing exemplary customer service to walk-in clients seeking Race Gas, Propane, and related products.
  • Managing cash transactions, including operating the cash register and ensuring accurate end-of-day financial reporting.
  • Overseeing bulk fuel operations, including product pumping, inventory monitoring, and ordering supplies.
  • Supporting the sub-distributor network by assisting with merchandise selection and maintaining contact rosters.
  • Curating content for the performance fuels social media platforms.
  • Administering the Sponsorship Program, which includes managing contracts and ensuring compliance with marketing requirements.
  • Organizing and hosting promotional events at the main office.
  • Tracking sales and profit metrics to recommend operational improvements.
  • Handling daily operational tasks, including answering phone inquiries and managing courier deliveries.
  • Maintaining an organized and clean work environment, including the warehouse and office spaces.
  • Conducting monthly safety checks and participating in community outreach initiatives.
Operational Tasks:

Training will be provided for the following:

  • Operating a forklift for loading and unloading shipments.
  • Stocking fuel products as necessary.
  • Utilizing electric gasoline pumps and propane filling stations.
  • Performing general cleaning duties to maintain workplace hygiene.
  • Demonstrating reliability and a strong commitment to customer service.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, with a preference for B2B experience.
  • An Associate's Degree in business, sales, or marketing is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Experience in the racing or automotive industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
