Lead Specialist IT Incident Management

KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist I IT Service Management to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire incident management process from detection to resolution including major incident response Record all incidents and maintain documentation for all outages including conducting post incident reviews with resolving groups Ensure the appropriate communications are sent to Information Technology IT and business leadership keeping them advised of the incident and business impact Work closely with IT teams security personnel and upper management Participate in regular assessments of processes to ensure they are well-documented sustainable and scalable
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of recent experience supporting various infrastructure stacks such as application hypervisor compute storage networking supporting multiple business applications and IT service management. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Experience working with ServiceNow in a 24x7 IT operations environment is also required. Knowledge of Incident Management processes Business Continuity Data Breach Management and experience with Incident and Event Management tools are also necessary. Excellent communication skills are essential for providing verbal and written communication and collaboration with all levels of the organization
