Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Leasing Specialist to join our team in managing a portfolio of properties in Virginia. As a Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to leasing inquiries, touring apartments, and processing rental applications. You will also assist with developing marketing plans and posting advertisements.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to leasing inquiries and follow up on leads
  • Assist with developing marketing plans and posting advertisements
  • Process rental applications, execute leases, and collect deposits
  • Manage move-ins and move-outs
  • Process maintenance requests and work orders
  • Perform other administrative and property management tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in the apartment management industry with lease-up experience, preferred
  • Retail sales or hospitality experience with willingness to be trained in the multifamily environment, encouraged to apply
  • Ability to multitask, achieve deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Attentive to detail and organized with ability to manage multiple leasing prospects
  • Strong communication and writing skills with ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Basic computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Prior experience with Yardi, preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Must pass a background check
