Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Document Remediation Specialist to join our team at Omm IT Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting document retrieval, conversion, archiving, and storage processes. This is a full-time, 100% on-site W2 position requiring active TS/SCI clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support document retrieval, conversion, archiving, and storage processes.
  • Perform inventory, staging, tagging, labeling, and cataloging archival documents.
  • Perform electronic conversion through scanning and archiving physical documents.
  • Extract document-related metadata information for enterprise applications.
  • Maintain tracking systems for each aspect of document management process.
  • Maintain and manage document repositories for various processing activities.
  • Perform search and retrieval of sought-after documents through efficient searching.
  • Log and manage document-level activity to efficiently track process progress.
  • Produce regular tracking reports for each document management process activity.
  • Perform document standardization tasks, including document re-formatting, re-alignment, pagination, justification, font standardization, footnotes/bookmarks management, spell check, and renaming according to established naming conventions.
  • Perform data cleansing using defined remediation guidelines and business rules.
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in records and document management concepts.
  • Thorough understanding of electronic document management and filing environments.
  • Experience in conversion of documents to electronic format through scanning processes.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office productivity suite for document management, specifically labeling, mail merge, and spreadsheet management.
  • Ability to handle, process, and safeguard classified and/or sensitive materials with utmost care.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of document staging environments like Microsoft Windows Explorer, Active Directory, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Ability to perform data entry using Microsoft Access database forms or Microsoft SharePoint lists to preserve document-level information.
  • Ability to log, track, and trace documents through various document management processes.
  • Ability to produce accountabilities for all documents managed through any process.
  • Ability to produce fast and error-free type-written copies of un-scannable documents.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment through self-management of tasks, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ability to develop efficient processes to manage high-volume workloads.
