The Ladders is a prominent organization dedicated to enhancing career opportunities and professional growth. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This pivotal full-time role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and act as a key financial representative to our Corporate Board of Directors, funding entities, and financial institutions.

Position Overview:

The CFO will oversee the financial operations of our organization, ensuring the effective management of accounting, finance, budgeting, audits, investments, and treasury functions in alignment with generally accepted accounting principles. The CFO will also be responsible for safeguarding assets through the implementation of robust internal controls and will provide strategic oversight of funding, contracts, and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting audits
  • Managing budgeting processes
  • Overseeing contracts
  • Handling cash flow and management
  • Performing financial forecasting
  • Executing strategic analysis
  • Implementing cost allocations
  • Establishing internal controls
  • Managing accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Monthly Close General Ledger
  • Overseeing investments
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Supervising the Controller, Director of Fiscal Management, and respective accounting teams
  • Managing applicable tax reporting
Essential Qualifications:
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred experience in Managed Care, non-profit accounting, and federal funding
