About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to join our team at CV Resources. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business success and ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial construction firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability. Collaborate with the President/CEO and other key leaders to achieve company goals.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all construction divisions, ensuring accurate estimating, budget adherence, and project execution. Manage risks and ensure safety goals are met.
  • Financial Oversight: Direct P&L responsibilities, review financial reports, and support budgeting. Identify efficiencies and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Human Capital Development: Develop and implement training programs to support the growth and development of the operations team. Mentor direct reports and establish departmental goals aligned with the company's vision.
  • Process Improvement: Establish operational policies, review processes for improvement, and stay updated on regulations and legal issues.
  • Business Development: Build relationships with stakeholders, represent the company in community events, and support contract negotiations.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in executive management within construction or manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and financial management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software; familiarity with Sage, TimberScan, and Procore is preferred.
