Job Summary

The Pointe at Meridian is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Nursing LPN/RN to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and mentor a team of nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and services are provided to residents.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Clinical Operations
    • Oversee the administration of medications, including ordering, storage, and dispensing.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Quality Improvement
    • Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, residents, and families to ensure open and effective communication.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in senior housing or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds and push a medication cart.
