Position Overview

AV/VTC Conference Room Operator

Location: Ft. Belvoir, VA

The AV/VTC Conference Room Operator will play a key role in the daily oversight of Department of Defense (DoD) video teleconferencing (VTC) and conference room systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine performance evaluations to verify the functionality of VTC and conference room equipment, computer servers, and workstations.
  • Execute setups, adjustments, operations, tests, and shutdowns of equipment in support of VTC sessions.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting of VTC and conference room equipment.
  • Provide on-site assistance during standard and/or contractually mandated core business hours.
  • Offer occasional after-hours support as requested by the government client.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
  • Complete annual training requirements for both the company and the client in accordance with established policies.
  • Document labor hours daily in the online corporate system.
  • Travel up to 10% as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business Technology Administration or IT-related field, or
  • High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of hardware and software support experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant audio-visual or access control support experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • TS/SCI clearance is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient understanding of AV/VTC operations and basic networking principles.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to attend all client in-person meetings and conferences as required.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure, performance-driven environment.
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet established deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
