Position Overview

AV/VTC Conference Room Operator

The AV/VTC Conference Room Operator will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of VTC and Conference Room systems for the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine performance evaluations to ensure the functionality of VTC and conference room equipment, computer servers, and workstations.
  • Manage setups, adjustments, operations, tests, and shutdowns of equipment during VTC sessions.
  • Monitor system performance to guarantee availability and reliability.
  • Execute baseline troubleshooting for VTC and conference room equipment.
  • Provide on-site assistance during standard operational hours.
  • Offer after-hours support as required by the government client.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
  • Complete annual training requirements in accordance with established policies.
  • Record daily labor hours in the corporate system.
  • Travel as necessary, up to 10% of the time.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business Technology Administration or a related IT field, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of hardware and software support experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in audio-visual or access control support.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

  • Proficient understanding of AV/VTC operations and basic networking principles.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to attend all client meetings and conferences as required.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
