Position Overview
The AV/VTC Conference Room Operator is essential in managing and supporting advanced video teleconferencing and conference room systems. This role is critical in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within various operational settings.
Location: Ft. Belvoir, VA
In this dynamic role, you will engage with cutting-edge technology to support large-scale operations, contributing to a culture of professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine performance evaluations to guarantee the functionality of VTC and conference room equipment, including computer servers and workstations.
- Oversee the setup, calibration, operation, testing, and decommissioning of equipment for VTC sessions.
- Monitor system performance to ensure consistent availability and reliability.
- Execute preliminary troubleshooting for VTC and conference room technology.
- Provide on-site technical support during standard operational hours and as required by contractual obligations.
- Occasionally offer after-hours support as requested.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
- Complete annual training requirements as per company and client policies.
- Document daily labor hours in the corporate tracking system.
- Travel may be required up to 10% as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Technology Administration or a related IT field, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of hardware and software support experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in audio-visual or access control support.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

- Proficient understanding of AV/VTC operations and basic networking principles.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to attend all required in-person meetings and conferences.
- Capable of multitasking in a high-pressure, performance-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
