The Visual Media Specialist plays a crucial role in providing photographic support and services within the Multimedia Production Support Team, catering to a Department of Defense organization with video-teleconferencing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site assistance primarily during standard business hours, with occasional support required outside of these hours.
- Organize, coordinate, execute, and monitor photography events and requirements both on-site and off-site.
- Identify performance issues, troubleshoot, and report system-related problems to the customer organization and Multimedia Production Support Staff.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and operational checks on equipment and systems.
- Ensure the security of photography lab and office locations as necessary.
- Assist the Multimedia Production Support Team in setting up and executing outdoor or off-site events.
- Manage service requests and work orders related to photography services.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts effectively.
- Generate and comply with reporting requirements as mandated by the customer organization and contractual obligations.
- Develop and implement processes for metrics capture, quality control, and assurance.
- Complete all required training and record labor hours accurately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
- TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with AR 25-1 and DoD PAM is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to attend all customer meetings and conferences as requested.
- Capable of multitasking in a high-pressure, performance-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of integrity and accountability is expected.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% as required.
