Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AV/VTC Conference Room Operator to join our team at Chenega MIOS SBU. As an AV/VTC Conference Room Operator, you will be responsible for the daily management of DoD site VTC and Conference Room systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Testing: Perform routine performance testing to ensure VTC and other conference room equipment, computer servers, and workstations function properly.
  • Equipment Setup and Operation: Perform setups, adjustments, operations, tests, and shutdowns of equipment in support of VTC sessions.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform baseline troubleshooting of VTC and conference room equipment.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during standard and/or contractually mandated core business hours.
  • After-Hours Support: Provide occasional after-hours support as requested by the government customer.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
  • Training and Development: Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.
  • Labor Hours Tracking: Record labor hours daily in the online corporate system.
  • Travel: Travel 10% as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree in Business Technology Administration field, or IT-related field of study OR High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of hardware and software support experience.
  • Experience: Must have 2+ years of relevant audio-video or access control support work experience.
  • Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and have a TS/SCI clearance.

  • Knowledge and Skills: Must have a working knowledge of AV/VTC operations and understand basic networking.
  • Communication Skills: Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
  • Time Management: Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Integrity and Accountability: Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
  • Problem-Solving: Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 10% as required.
