Job Title: SharePoint Developer/Administrator Subject Matter ExpertDescription of Work:

The client is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Developer/Administrator Subject Matter Expert to join their team of qualified professionals. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.

The team is searching for a SharePoint Developer that can create, configure, and administer SharePoint websites, find solutions to enhance business activity, and customize sites based on the client's needs. In this role, we are seeking candidate experience in converting processes into SharePoint workflows; interfacing with project managers and following systems engineering life cycle best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Web look Intranet Portal Collaboration Intranet Site and Branding on SharePoint platform or using Live Tiles solution.
  2. Build new landing page, FAQ, Knowledgebase, department templates/pages, newsletter, banner, and videos accessible to any device.
  3. Implement, deploy, package, and maintain new intranet portal site and SharePoint site.
  4. Use SharePoint Framework SPx to create website designs with OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates.
  5. Code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, and Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap, or responsive design for all devices.
  6. Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management.
  7. Build workflow forms using SharePoint Designer, and PowerApps/Flow.
  8. Migrate data from SharePoint Online to SP 2010/2013/2016 using Sharegate, Quest, or Metalogix migration tool.
  9. Designing and developing custom SharePoint solutions based on business requirements.
  10. Creating and configuring SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.
  11. Developing custom forms and templates using InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.
  12. Integrating SharePoint with other business applications, such as CRM or ERP systems.
  13. Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries.
  14. Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.
  15. Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet.
  16. Providing technical support for SharePoint users.
  17. Developing and implementing SharePoint security and access controls.
  18. Monitoring SharePoint performance and troubleshooting issues.
  19. Collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  20. Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  21. Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
  22. Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.
RequirementsBasic Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience, Master's degree and 5 years of experience, or 11 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  2. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a SharePoint developer role using SharePoint online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2013/2016.
  3. Minimum 3-4 years of SharePoint system administration experience.
  4. Minimum of 2 years supporting legacy Sharepoint 2010/2013 technology relating to decommissioning.
  5. Minimum of 2 years working with Service Design teams and projects to support the uplift of existing and migration to new technology.
  6. Minimum of 4 years experience in client interaction and understanding business application, business data flow, and migration from SP 2010 or 2013 to 2016.
  7. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Strong knowledge of PowerApps and Power Automate.
  2. Experience working with modern API Platforms such as REST, SOAP JSO & XML.
  3. An understanding of cloud platforms and services, ideally Azure & Office 365.
  4. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  5. Experience in SharePoint framework, building sites in hybrid environments, developing, and administrating.
  6. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
  7. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  8. Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized, and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests.
  9. Basic knowledge and understanding of SDLC process, performing unit testing, and packing to deploy from DEV to PROD.
  10. Strong knowledge of the.Net framework (C#), IIS, Azure Active Directory, and SharePoint site configuration.
  11. Strong project management skills.
  12. Must have expertise building and/or maintaining collaboration sites and/or programs.
  13. Excellent knowledge around UI/UX.
