About the Role

Gentiva Hospice is seeking an experienced Executive Director Specialist RN to join our team as a Regional Subject Matter Expert. This is a unique opportunity to work with our East Region offices, providing leadership and expertise in hospice operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Operations: Serve as the administrator on call and be responsible for the overall operation at the local office, employment of qualified Hospice personnel, and provision of Hospice services.
  • Quality and Compliance: Establish and maintain standards of high quality and customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
  • Goal Setting and Evaluation: Implement and evaluate goals and objectives for Hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
  • Regulatory Affairs: Maintain compliance with all legal rules and regulations.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in hospice operations, state and federal regulations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leadership and management roles, with a focus on quality and customer service.

  • Education and Experience: Registered Nurse required, BSN preferred. 3-5 years sales or management experience in a Hospice environment required.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong regulatory affairs and governance requirements for healthcare. Thorough knowledge of state and local guidelines that govern regulatory processes for healthcare. Ability to travel a minimum of 75% of the time throughout the region.
  • Personal Qualities: Confident to work independently. Ability to communicate clearly. Effective time management skills. Shares information with team to improve overall team performance.
