Job Description

AIR Communities is seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Service and Construction East to lead the company's East Area construction and service teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering world-class customer service, preserving and maintaining the company's nationwide portfolio, and spearheading capital improvements at its communities.

  • Lead the East Area construction and service teams to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve construction and service processes, reducing costs and enhancing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with regional operations team members to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.
  • Travel frequently to properties throughout the region to monitor progress and provide guidance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, contractors, and vendors.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of construction and service professionals to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement construction and service strategies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with regional operations team members to ensure effective project execution and communication.
  • Travel frequently to properties throughout the region to monitor progress and provide guidance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, contractors, and vendors.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in construction management and multifamily operations.
  • Leadership experience in managing large-scale construction projects and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to aggregate, organize, and effectively communicate real-time performance data to senior leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in construction management, property operations, or related field.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of construction and service industry trends and best practices.
