Culinary Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to Busch's quality standards.
- Manage kitchen workflow and create preparation lists for team members.
- Implement programs to enhance the deli hot case, hot food bar, chef's case, and grab & go options.
- Prepare and produce a variety of food items, including executing menu items and managing the hot case program.
- Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of food according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust production based on seasonal demands and promotional activities.
- Assist in training kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food presentation, portion control, and sanitation practices.
- Provide feedback to management regarding team performance and kitchen conditions.
- Support inventory management by assisting in ordering and stock control.
- Maintain food safety standards, including proper dating and temperature control.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and operational through regular inspections.
- Manage food costs by adhering to proper storage and waste control procedures.
- Represent Busch's brand at external food events.
- Stay informed about food trends and new product offerings relevant to the department.
- Contribute to team effectiveness by sharing insights and suggestions.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Demonstrate accountability for achieving performance goals and maintaining quality standards.
- Communicate effectively and utilize feedback for continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by recognizing achievements and supporting colleagues.
- Act with integrity by proactively addressing challenges and adapting to changes.
- Consistently adhere to Busch's policies and procedures.
- Share enthusiasm for our products by being knowledgeable and engaging with customers.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- A minimum of 2 years in various kitchen roles, including food preparation and cooking.
- Food safety certification is required.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain high sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Excel and Word.
- Formal culinary training is preferred.
