Cedarbrook Senior Living is seeking a dynamic Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at our Northville community. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Service Execution: Assist with executing daily meal services for all residents and guests, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Dining Room Operations: Receive and resolve dining room service concerns immediately in conjunction with the Food Service Manager, Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef, or the Director of Dining Services.
  • Team Management: Ensure servers are trained properly to achieve maximum productivity and deliver high standards. Diligently monitor team members to ensure they are in the proper, neat, clean, pressed uniform, including name tag and safety shoes, at all times.
  • Daily Planning: Plan daily dining room set-up, sections, service, and side-work based on resident meal counts. Follow up to ensure all tasks have been completed to maintain a like-new appearance.
  • Team Development: Ensure team members attend service lineup and department in-service meetings. Assist with ensuring a consistent cleaning and maintenance schedule is completed, addressing and reporting deficiencies and maintenance concerns.
  • Compliance: Ensure that local and state laws, policies, and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate self-motivation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
