The Henry Ford Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supervising a group of employees engaged in maintenance and new construction within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance and construction staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with all state, city, and Health Department regulations and recommendations for the safety of all hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance and construction plans to ensure the hospital's facilities are safe, efficient, and meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to identify and prioritize maintenance and construction needs.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and construction activities, including schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or construction.
- Proven track record of supervising and coordinating maintenance and construction staff.
- Strong knowledge of state, city, and Health Department regulations and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
