Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care and support to healthcare providers and other team members
- Assist with medical procedures and tests
- Collect and process laboratory samples
- Administer medications and vaccines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This position requires working in a healthcare setting with frequent exposure to patients, families, and healthcare team members. The Certified Medical Assistant will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow infection control protocols.
