We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Assist with clinical duties, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing basic laboratory tests.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Experience with phlebotomy and laboratory procedures.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and HEDIS guidelines.
